Nurses United, founded in 2019, is a grassroots organisation of nurses, which was set up to complement the role of established unions such as the Royal College of Nursing.

Isla’s support has meant that Nurses united have now:

  • Hired 2 members of staff
  • Launched their website
  • Media trained over 50 nurses with them having approximately 40 media appearances since Nurses United started

“Thanks to the Isla Foundation we were able to launch a grassroots campaign to get Nurses PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and grew our mailing list to 2,000 members. Without them we couldn’t have built the website, hired the staff or had the tools to make this all possible.”
